Cape Kidnappers Gannet Safaris Tour

For more than 50 years, Gannet Safaris has been leading tours to Cape Kidnappers in New Zealand that puts visitors to within metres of the fascinating gannets with no walking necessary. Air-conditioned 4x4 vehicles transport visitors over the stunning Cape Kidnappers Station in comfort and style, taking them on a journey that winds through vast swaths of rolling pastures, riverbeds, steep gullies, patches of native bush and amazing scenery. On the way, stop at a breathtaking cliff top with marvellous sweeping views of Hawke’s Bay right across to the Mahia Peninsula. Here you can also admire the area’s incredible geology. The 36km Cape Kidnappers Gannet Safaris Tour takes three hours from Napier in New Zealand and includes an informative introduction to the gannets and commentary on Cape Kidnappers Station’s farming operation by your tour guide.

The tours operate daily at 9.30AM and 1.30PM from September 1 through to April 30 (except Christmas Day).
