From Queenstown, we journey into the back country on this half day Moke Lake guided kayak tour in New Zealand. This stunning lake is located only 20 minutes away from central Queenstown. Moke Lake is surrounded by mountains and offers a quiet and peaceful setting, so you can escape the hustle and bustle of town and enjoy the natural environment of rural New Zealand.
Season: 1 October - 30 April
Duration:
- Allow 3 hours round trip
- Approx. 1-1.5 hours paddle time
Other Information
- Minimum 2 people required to confirm guided trips
- Trips are suitable for both experienced and first-time kayakers
- Non-swimmers are also welcome
- Exclusive and group packages available upon request

For Self-Drive Option
- The drive to Moke Lake is along a gravel road, approximately 30 minutes from Queenstown, with no cell phone signal along the way.
- Please ensure you arrive at Moke Lake Campground by 9:20 am.
Start: Moke Lake, Queenstown (9am)
Finish: Moke Lake, Queenstown (12 noon)
