Okarito Scenic Cruise

Journey across Lake Mapourika, Westland’s largest lake found in Tai Poutini National Park, on the Hannah-K, a purpose-built Okarito Scenic Cruise tour boat for the West Coast with covered cabin area from where to view the stunning mirrored estuaries of the Okarito Kiwi Sanctuary, the natural habitat of New Zealand’s rarest Kiwi Bird. The outdoor viewing platforms get visitors close to some of Westland’s native birds and dense primeval rainforest.

The tour is patterned after those of the first pioneers who visited the glacier region in the early 1900’s.
