Yes. No previous canyoning experience is required. Guides provide full instruction and can offer alternative routes to suit different confidence levels.

Strong swimming ability is not required, but you should be confident in moving water. A buoyancy aid is provided as part of your canyoning equipment.

The full experience lasts approximately four hours, including transfers, gearing up and up to two hours of canyoning activities.

Wetsuits, buoyancy aids, boots, socks, helmets and all technical canyoning equipment are provided.

Previous canyoning experience is not required, but this is a more demanding trip than the Queenstown half-day tour. Guests should have a high level of fitness and be confident in water.

The full trip lasts approximately eight hours, including transfers, the Routeburn Track walk, gearing up and up to three hours of canyoning activity.

The canyon may include abseiling, jumps, zip lines, natural slides, pools and narrow passages. The exact route depends on conditions and individual confidence.
